Frequently Asked
Questions
Why should we use your process over others?
Our process is the only proven process that totally removes all the old rubber from your Carlite glass. The “MUSTANG” script is then restored to a bright white appearance like factory. Then new rubber is applied to the glass. We are the only one that can do this, many others try to fix old worn-out rubber with fillers & paint. The proof is in the results.
How long does it take?
It generally takes 2-3 weeks depending on number of sets we currently have being restored. We want to get them returned as soon as possible but will not sacrifice quality for a quick turn-around.
Is my glass insured when shipped?
When you ship your glass to us, it is your responsibility to insure your windows for the proper replacement value. All completed windows we ship back to the customer are fully insured free of charge.
How much does it cost?
Currently, a set of restored coupe quarter windows costs $1300. This price includes the full window restoration as well as fully insured shipping back to the customer. Please see the Services page for other available options.
Do you do hatchback windows?
We are in the process of getting ready so we can offer them as well. It takes time to get it just right so they to will look like OEM. Be patient but they are coming!
Are you two twins?
As the oldest of us by 6 years, I truly appreciate this compliment. 😊 – Chad –
